At ON THAT ASS we work hard on developing unique boxer shorts in a sustainable environment.
This means that we are always looking for new ways to cut our production chain, for minimum environmental impact. We purchase just enough material to produce enough pairs of boxer shorts for our members, which means there is little residual waste and we have minimum stock. Also, because our boxer shorts are printed, cut and sewn in our own factory we are able to reduce waste.
Our factory located in China is continuously working on improving the production process and making it more sustainable. In addition, it has a number of quality certificates, such as a BSCI. This certificate guarantees good working conditions and human rights for employees.

Until 2018, freight transport to the Netherlands was by plane; nowadays all transport is by container ship. It takes a little longer, but reduces pollution.
Until October 2018, our packaging consisted of a cardboard box covered in plastic. At the end of 2018 we changed this to just plastic packaging.
We want your boxer shorts to be delivered dry and undamaged. This new packaging has proven to be successful. You can also play your part by ensuring the packaging is properly recycled.
Sometimes a production error may occur in our boxer shorts. We always ask members to return faulty boxer shorts, so we make sure they are recycled in collaboration with Philtex. This gives your boxer shorts a new life and reduces the need for new raw materials.
